Chazy Maintains #1 Ranking in New York

Through October 14, the undefeated Eagles remain the number one team in New York State's Class D.

Chazy's overall season record is 12-0-1, with the only blemish a tie game in regulation in the championship of the Frankie Garrow memorial tournament (despite the Eagles winning the title in the shootout, the game is officially counted as a tie.)

Section III's Poland is ranked #2 in Class D, followed by Fort Ann from Section II.

Another Final Four trip for Chazy: Eagles Beat PH 2-0 for Regional Championship

Chazy advanced to the New York State Class D Final Four once again, defeating Parishville-Hopkinton 2-0 on Saturday November 12.

After a scoreless first half, Brandon Laurin gave the Eagles the lead just 3:57 into the second half, heading-in a goal off a long throw-in by Nathan Reynolds.

Freshman Josh Barrierre scored just over 15 minutes later, off an assist by Nelson Pelton, to provide the backbreaking insurance goal. Chazy netminder Austin Santor only needed to make two saves to notch his 17th shutout of the season in 20 games.

Chazy will play Alfred-Almond of Section V in the state semifinals on Saturday at 1:30 PM at Middletown High School. The winner of that game will move on to face the winner of the Fort Ann-Hamilton match for the state championship on Sunday.
