2010 season about to get under way

The Chazy boys, defending NY State Champions, begin their 2010 season tonight, hosting the first annual Frankie Garrow Memorial Tournament in Chazy.

From the Press-Republican: "Today's opening-round action has Beekmantown versus Canton at 5 p.m., followed by Plattsburgh High School against Chazy at 5 p.m. The third-place and championship games will be played Saturday at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively.

Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for students."

The tournament honors the late Frankie Garrow, a member of last year's state championship team who tragically died in a car accident in December.
